Our Mission

Who We Are:

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for anyone who has or will have intestinal or urinary diversion surgery. Our goal is to support new and seasoned ostomates in leading a happy, active life. Membership is open to ostomates, their families and friends, and the medical community.
 

What We Do:

• We provide information and support at our 3 monthly meetings.
• We connect members to information about ostomy products, manufacturers, and distributors.
• We provide information on local ostomy clinics.
• We inform members of ostomy related activities and news.
• We have a support line.
• We are listed on the 2-1-1 Arizona Directory for those seeking ostomy information.
• We collect and re-distribute donated ostomy supplies.
• We distribute our brochure and ostomy information to hospitals, care centers, physician groups, and WOCN groups.
• We participate in clinician education/enrichment programs.
• We advocate for patient education, empowerment and care.
• We offer certified ostomy patient visitors.
